Yoyo(You) Mo

Yoyo graduated from the University of Florida with a master’s degree in Digital Arts and Sciences. During graduate study, she gained hands-on experience in UI/UX design for an educational web application at UF Digital Worlds Institute. Besides, she further broadened her horizons and creativity by designing and implementing a 3D cultural heritage preservation and education game on her own, going through the entire process of concept design, game architecture design, game story scripting, content creation, and development.

Upon graduation, she joined Rokid R-lab in 2018 and started exploring the AR interaction with their product research team. She was involved in every project kick-off discussion and produced concept and content strategy, mapped out task flows and user journeys. During the project planning phase, she was also in charge of evaluating different technology types with PM and engineers, prioritizing action items to derive the best solution for the project. At the same time, she enjoys being the creator as well, creating interactive prototypes using her aesthetic skills and front-end techniques to test design concepts, collect feedback for iteration.

She is empathetic and curious by nature as an artistic individual, thus sensitive to details and human psychology. She is interested in designing with a critical and practical mindset, and open-minded to be imaginative and embrace designing boundary-pushing systems for the future.

In her spare time, she is a passionate singer and dancer. She loves to express her optimistic, energetic, and driven attitude through singing and dancing and hopes to bring the positive energy to everyone around her.
